extraordinaire, she has everything you could possibly need in an emergency on your wedding day, the music you want in the car, the sweets and drinks you prefer (at no extra charge!), and she decorates her cars to match the theme of your wedding! Amazing! But most of all, she has the warmest hug, she’s so friendly and thoughtful (she remembered I was diabetic and in the car waiting for me there was a box of diabetic chocolates – my fave Boots seashells – the diabetic version of the famous Guylian seashells!). I couldn’t recommend Lady Penelope cars highly enough!! Not only are they family friendly but were the only company that were more than happy to carry our six month old aboard. And lucky for us because it made our wedding day extra magical.
Penelope is a stylish comfortable ride with luxurious wool rugs, beautiful interiors, but Nic makes the experience exceptional! Not only is she extremely friendly and puts you at ease the moment you meet her, she ensures the day is planned to make everything special. She is unbelievably thoughtful and has onboard a full emergency kit, including Ivory satin shawl which she brought over to me when it became cold, nail glue to save my false nail from falling off and more included (luckily we didn’t need to use).
I have treasured memories of my time from Lady Penelope and the wonderful Nic which I can’t thank her enough!!

Nic gave our Wedding Day that extra bit of sparkle that turned a fantastic moment into a legendary one! With skills that extended to ‘Bride and Groom ring-finding’ (You won’t find that in the Yellow Pages) we got the (warm) feeling that Nic could take care of everything… which in fact she did. Moreover, the thoughtful card we received shortly after the wedding was both unexpected and delightful. Words cannot fully express our gratitude Nic, but it’s all we have to work with, so…

Just wanted to thank you again for the fab personal service you provided to myself and my bridesmaids Saskia and Tracey on my wedding day. You kept me calm when we knew already we were late for the wedding due to the traffic, you amused my daughter and helped cheer me up, in the moments leading up to us actually getting to the registry office.
You rang 118 118 and got through to the the registrar so that I could confirm there was to be a wedding, after pleading with them! – so close round the corner, yet so far away timewise! (A full house of people waiting for us too, thinking I was about to jilt my future hubbie!)…
On the plus side, everything worked out, I married Andy and had a fab wedding reception, and have some really happy memories of my wedding day.

Cannot recommend Lady Penelope Cars enough!!! Our wedding was last Friday (8th October 2010) and the service we received was exceptional. The lovely chauffeur Nicola was extremely friendly and professional. Nicola went out of her way to make sure we were at ease. Fantastic with the children (who loved Penelope!) and literally went out of her way for us. One of the highlights of our day.

From the moment I made the booking I knew I was in good hands with Nic. She was very helpful and accommodating to my questions and nothing was too much trouble. I found her to be very pleasant and calm on the day despite us keeping her waiting. The car is beautiful and pristine it certainly adds a touch of class to the proceedings without being too ostentatious and vulgar. I would certainly recommend this company to family and friends

Took the three bridesmaids and myself to the registry office in Skipton. The three 9 year olds sat in the back and were made to feel like royalty by the chaufuer. As I sat in the front and enjoyed talking to the chaufer. The ribbons on the car matched my red dress perfectly. My husband & I were driven to the reception and kindly provided us with wedding card, which was most unexpected. On our return from honeymoon we rec’d a lovely email to let us know that she really enjoyed our company and lthat was one of the reasons why she really enjoys her job.

Our entire experience with Nic and Penelope was a truly great one. The attention to detail was amazing. Everything we asked for we got.
The car turned up looking gorgeous with a Cadbury Purple bonnet ribbon. Driver Nic even went out of her way to stop off at Tesco and get us some confetti for the photographers ‘confetti shot’. My mum had forgotten to bring some with her so Nic parked up Penelope in Tesco’s car park and quickly ran in to get some for us. We had a few funny looks from passers by doing their weekly shop but oh well, it was worth it.
Thank you Nic and Penelope for an unforgettable day.

As I walked down our front path feeling every inch the princess, this was emphasised even more by the beautiful car that was awaiting me .. the door was opened for me and I was made to feel as special as anyone would want to feel on their special day ..this service was exceptional as it was an hour drive to the venue I was made to feel very comfortable by the chauffeur, she asked regularly if I was warm enough (I got married in October) but not too many times i felt suffocated. Nic was wonderfully dressed and was a wonderful person to have driven me there and back on my special day… she had a wonderful etiquette and a pleasure to have her join in our day… Penelope was as beautiful inside as it is on the outside and extremely comfortable… my children were so excited and they weren’t disappointed… it was wonderfully romantic returning from the venue with my husband in the back of such a beautiful car …what a perfect way to end the day… thank you so much Penelope and Nic you really made our day special.
